Capuchin News From WYD08!

CAPUCHIN NEWS FROM WYD08! Around forty young English-speaking Capuchin friars came together in Plumpton (Sydney, Australia) to make the WYD pilgrimage journey as a group united in fraternity. The friars were from Australia, the USA, Canada, Poland, Puerto Rico, Papua New Guinea, as well as postulants from East Timor. The group was also joined by six Franciscan Immaculatine Sisters from Australia, the Philippines, Italy and Brazil. Having so many young friars together was an awesome witness and manifestation of Capuchin and religious life to the youth of the world, but especially to the people of Australia, who for the most part are unaware that religious life is still a reality in the Church. It was a great opportunity to evangelise, to share about our life, as well as to participate in the many WYD activities as brothers. For more news have a look CAPUCHIN NEWS
